Thank You Fr. Tom O'Gorman
The school community would like to say goodbye to and thank Fr. Tom O Gorman. Fr. O Gorman has served as the school chaplain since 2006. For many of our students and staff Fr. O Gorman was the link between school and Parish and as first tears joined us from Scoil Criost Ri he was that reassuring constant for them as the world of primary school was left behind.
During his tenure as college chaplain he was always enthusiastic and helpful, facilitating many wonderful services and aiding the Religion department with both the educational and pastoral elements of school life.
Fr. O Gorman was a great aid to the whole school community and we wish him well in his future ministry.

Newly Designed School Crest
In light of the introduction of a new school uniform and jacket, the school decided to change the current school crest. A competition was run within the school, open to all students to design a new school crest.
Thank you & congratulations to Lisa Mullins 5th year for this skillfully designed crest.
The crest incorporates all the key elements of our school and its’ history.
The torch of knowledge is a link to the old crest, each of the four quarters represents elements that we feel our school is built upon; The book representing our academic spectrum, the protractor represents our technology & practical departments, the runners displaying our emphasis on sport, & the musical note the artistic element in school.
